KEI was established in 1987 mainly for overseas ODA road and bridge projects, with a distinct corporate identify of keeping neutrality of consultants, integrity to clients and projects, technical superiority and respect for local culture and society.

During the past 20 years, KEI undertook more than 500 projects in more than 60 countries over the world that includes master plans, feasibility studies, project evaluation, construction supervision, etc, funded through loans, grants and technical cooperation’s facilities, for which KEI earned the high esteem and respect of satisfied governments of developing countries all over the world, including the bilateral and multi lateral donor agencies.

In recent years, KEI had been actively involved in multi-sector projects and technical cooperation’s addressing such new issues as poverty reductions, environmental considerations, peace in conflict affected areas, resettlement projects, capacity building and PPP, as well as the conventional road and bridge projects, and expressways, contributory greatly to economic growth.  Through such endeavors, KEI will continuously respond to new development needs of countries in the most proper, effective and prompt manner.

Further more, eagerly awaited is the impending merging of JICA and JBIC in 2008 which will create a new ODA System in Japan that will enhance integration of loans, grants and technical assistance schemes; and ensure more efficient and effective ODA implementation. With it’s corporate identity firmly in mind, KEI sincerely looks forward to dedicating it’s service in the new challenge through advancing only the highest level of consultancy services.
